Function

It is a low-pressure fuel supply component for common rail fuel system. Driven by engine gear train, it draws diesel fuel from tank and delivers fuel to fuel filter, supplying stable low-pressure fuel to high-pressure common rail pump. It avoids cavitation and suction shortage of high-pressure pump, maintains consistent fuel flow during idling and heavy load. Air bleeding must be done via air vent screw on filter base.
