As a low-pressure fuel supply component of the engine, it adopts an external meshing gear pump structure. Driven by the engine gear, it draws diesel fuel from the fuel tank and builds stable low fuel pressure to deliver fuel to the high-pressure fuel pump. This ensures sufficient fuel supply at the inlet of the high-pressure pump and prevents cavitation and wear of the high-pressure pump.
A built-in overflow valve inside the pump body stabilizes the output fuel pressure. When pressure exceeds the set value, fuel returns to maintain stable oil circuit pressure.
