Product Functions
The top knob enables manual priming. After fuel filter replacement or engine maintenance, it bleeds air from the fuel circuit to facilitate engine start-up.
Fitted with a transparent sediment filter bowl, it preliminarily filters impurities in diesel and separates water from oil. It allows direct visual inspection of water and sediments in fuel, protecting the downstream high-pressure fuel system.
It is installed at the front end of the engine fuel inlet to supply pre-fuel for the fuel system.
Common Faults
Internal pressure leakage of the hand primer knob, failing to build up oil pressure and resulting in priming failure;
Aging of the filter bowl sealing ring, causing diesel leakage;
Clogging of the built-in filter screen inside the filter bowl, leading to poor fuel supply and reduced vehicle power.
